Pharmer Phil’s Garden

Those of you familiar with Pharmer Phil’s Garden know that it is quite famous for tomatoes, squash, and green beans. But this year Christine and I were allowed to add the bell peppers and spicy thai peppers to the mix… with much success I might add!

The biggest surprise was how hot the thai peppers were. Christine and I both tested a hot pepper (before it was cooked) and I’m pretty sure you could have seen the steam coming off our tongues when we ran them under cold water. I myself made the additional mistake of scraping out the seeds with my thumbs before cutting up the peppers and had a burning sensation under my fingernails for almost three days!
