Here comes the sun

Well, after nine days of rain the sun is finally shining this morning! It’s nice to know that it’s still there. With all the rain, our activities have been pretty minimal. But there are lots of exciting things coming up!

Christine and I are hopefully taking a day off this week to take a tour of the turning leaves up North…that is if the sun continues to cooperate. Maybe we will even get a muddy hike in.

I’m also headed to San Antonio on November 2nd. WhippleHill is sending me to a technology conference hosted by our web hosting company. It sounds pretty interesting, at least to me, and it will be nice to get out of the office for a couple days and especially meet our Web support team.

As for today, it’s patriots football of course. So don’t call me during the game, because I won’t answer.

And how can I forget one of the most exciting things from this past week (for me). It is of course Apple related. They announced new iMacs and new iPods to go along with the ability to buy videos & TV shows from iTunes! All that news got me excited for two reasons… when I get a new iMac in a year or so it is gonna be sweet and probably have even more goodies! And one of those new iPods could be very useful on our honeymoon because we could download pictures directly to the iPod (something my 4G iPod doesn’t support). That could be better than buying a gazillion Memory Sticks. Anyone want to buy a 20GB iPod with over a year left on its service contract?
