Wedding update… look away!

Well, they still haven’t sent me back my camera (they are waiting for a part). So since I don’t have any pictures, I thought I might fill everyone in on the wedding planning progress…We managed to pick out invitations. Of course, we can’t order them until we meet with the priest to make sure we have all the details worked out.

We also started our registry, which at the moment is very small. Who knew it could be so overwhelming to pick out stuff that you actually want! We must have spent thirty minutes looking at knives without actually scanning any knives into the registry! And while were talking about scanning, who ever called that stupid thing a “gun” must have been smoking crack. It doesn’t look anything like a gun and it is not nearly as much fun as it is made out to be! I think there must be some kind of conspiracy… a secret society of women who propagate that lie in order to convince their future husbands to go registry shopping with them. Fool me once, shame on me…;-)

One other important announcement not related to weddings, but related to gifts, is that my birthday is coming up and there are only 22 days and 17 hours of shopping left(at the time of this post) . For those of you don’t feel like doing math, that means my birthday is on December 7th. Hopefully, I will be able to get my birthday list together by my next post… so stay tuned;-)
