Random thoughts (happy to have any thoughts)

Random thought number one (Which could really be my only one) is really more of a question. But I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed that the morning news shows (specifically the Today Show which we watch) has become a lot less news lately and a lot more reality TV/let’s make people cry/emotions over news. Personally, I was about to go crazy during the miners accident reporting (if you could call at that). I mean to ask a question like “How did it make you feel when you found out the report that 12 miners were alive was incorrect?” just shows you have no respect for the individual. It seems like one of those confessionals on the reality TV shows instead of news. Seriously, why ask a question you already know the answer to. Did they really expect the relative of the miner to say, it was no big deal?

Maybe that kind of thing doesn’t bother other people, but I found their questioning of relatives of the miners so irritating/offensive that I actually had to change the channel (something I almost never do). Moving on…

Technically, this isn’t a random thought, but I thought it was really cool that my OutSmart Computers Business got a random call last week from someone who found my page by searching on Yahoo or Google. In addition to him finding me, OutSmart has had a very good January. Maybe now that everyone has (hopefully) paid their Christmas bills they’re willing to spend a little money to get their computer working. What would I do without windows viruses and its general lack of quality:-D

Lastly, as you might already know, the Patriots season came to an unpleasant end last night. And although I think I am over the initial shock, I don’t think I’m ready to talk about it yet. Too many painful memories;-)
