Honeymoon – Hapuna and Pololu

After an excellent dinner at Subway the night before, we headed out to explore the world outside of “fantasy Island”. We had learned that a mere ten minutes down the road was Hapuna Beach, which is rated as the 3rd nicest beach in the world. I don’t remember exactly who rated it as such, but I’m assuming it is a group of beach bums… a group I would very much like to join. See for yourself below… This would not be the last day we went to this Beach either. A couple days later Christine and I both went swimming and saw our first (of many) Sea Turtle.

Our next stop was the northern part of the island called Pololu Point. As you can see from the picture below it is quite an amazing view. We actually hiked down a muddy trail to the bottom, all the while stopping to take a dizzying number of pictures.

Lastly, having nothing to do with the honeymoon, I read this article on a blog that I normally read about a guy who asked best buy to destroy his hard drive and all the data on it when he purchased a new one, only to have someone contact him a while later and tell them that he purchased his hard drive for $25 at a flea market. With all the information stored on your computer (credit cards, online banking, etc.) be aware that when you get rid of that computer all that data is still readable, even if you format the drive. If you can’t erase/destroy it yourself, make sure you find someone or a company you can trust. If that kind of information ends up in the wrong hands, you could find yourself on one of those Citibank commercials.
