Yeah Christmas!

We had a lovely Christmas this year. We slept over at my parents along with my sister and we all woke up Christmas morning to open presents together. Presents were followed by a very filling Christmas brunch. I’ve posted some of those pictures on Smugmug, but since I don’t want any of the lovely ladies to be upset by early morning pictures of them posted to the Internet I have put a password on the gallery. In the afternoon, we headed down to my grandmother’s “Castle” and celebrated with the rest of the family. For the first time in a while we got a few family pictures (one of which is below). I should also say congratulations to my cousin Jenn and her new fiancee Scott! They announced that they just got engaged and we are very happy for them!

The day after Christmas we were joined by Christine’s parents who are staying with us for a couple more days. Yesterday, we all took a drive up north and Diane joined Christine and I for our first snowshoeing experience. We had an amazing time and took probably a few too many pictures (but that’s normal for us).

Christine fell one time while trying to maneuver for a better picture, and most impressively she really sacrificed her body to protect the camera. If anyone sees any snowshoes on sale let us know because we’re in the market now!
