Grand Canyon

We left the Grand Canyon this afternoon, but instead of heading to Page as planned we arrived a day early in Zion. We had a great hike (Cape Final) yesterday with amazing views.

Today we were pretty beat and we spent a good chunk of the day just relaxing and reading at Point Imperial, which is an amazing overlook into the canyon. We also took a little dirt road detour in search of a lookout. The book we had gave bad directions so our detour took longer than expected…but vacations are supposed to have some adventures, so no harm done.
