Seattle – Tacoma

We added a few more frequent flyer miles to our tally this past week by taking a trip out to Seattle-Tacoma. The primary reason for the trip was to attend a wedding along the Hood Canal. Jared, one of our friends that we met in Denmark, picked a very beautiful (if not a little chilly) spot to get married.

Of course, Christine and I like to make the most of our travel opportunities and so instead of just staying for the wedding, we took the opportunity to meet up with some friends and family that we had not seen in a while. This included, for a change, some of MY friends, including Katrina, Jenn, and Ryan!!!

Katrina and I determined that we had not seen each other since college or just after. And it pains me to say that college was eight years ago. Can I really be that old? It is amazing how easy it is to lose touch with friends these days. Everyone is scattered to the far reaches of the states or sometimes the globe. The best part about having really good friends is that even after so much time it’s so easy to pick back up right where you left off.

The last few days of our trip we spent with Christine’s aunt and uncle and their two “boys“. The ”boys“ are eight-month-old furry bundles of energy.

I posted a few pictures from our trip on SmugMug.
