Working Weekend

It was back to work this weekend after a fun trip to New York City to visit Patricia last weekend. I’m finally just getting to download the pictures after all the painting (Thanks Mom!! and yard work (YUCK!!).

One thing you can always count on when going to New York to see Patricia is a fiesta for your taste buds. This time did not disappoint. It’s too bad New Hampshire doesn’t have the culinary delights that New York does, but what can you expect, it’s kind of small and lacks what you might call “diversity”.

In the picture below I’m starting off the trip right with a burrito from Chipotle. From there we tried Venezuelan arepa’s at Caracas. That was a first for Christine and I. In a word “DELICIOUS”!! And we finished off the trip with one of the finest Shawarma sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. It certainly a good thing that I don’t live in New York because I’d probably put on another 50 pounds.

Check out Christine’s new maternity shirt. I’m sure there’s some technical name for it, but whatever it’s called I like it! Unfortunately, so did a few people on the subway…but I can’t say I blame them. Click on any of the pictures to go to the photo gallery on smug mug.
