Four months and counting…

It is hard to believe that four months have come and gone. As of Helena’s four-month wellness checkup a little over a week ago she was about 26 1/2 inches long and she weighs 17 lbs. 6 oz. But that only tells part of the story. She has changed so much just in the last few weeks. She loves to sit up, she is doing so much better at entertaining herself, she is learning to fall asleep on her own (some nights more successful than others) and just last night she had her first bona fide laugh. We have had several giggles, but last night she full on laughed multiple times. She has rolled over a few times from her stomach to her back and she is teetering on reversing that move. It seems like she decides at the last minute that she doesn’t really want to be on her belly so she stops.

This picture was taken at the end of the daddy daughter day. It is not trademarked yet 🙂 I worked on a Saturday a couple weeks ago so I can have a whole afternoon with just Helena. She celebrated by wearing her Daddy loves me T-shirt.

We are clearly celebrating the Buckeyes victory over Michigan. She was wearing her Ohio State uniform.

In this picture she is clearly very thankful for mommy, as you can see (hopefully) by her outfit.

She is enjoying a good tickle by daddy.
