Month 7 Has Come and Gone

It has been an amazing month, and it is hard to believe that we have already entered month 8. Helena now loves her solid foods (as you can see by some of the pictures). She is super interactive now and seems to take in all of her surroundings, sometimes a little too much so at bedtime or naptime.

The other fun and interesting trick she showed us this month was her ability to roll around the room. She had been flipping over one way for a while and then all of a sudden one night she figured out how to go front to back and back to front and she didn’t stop until she hit the end of the room. We have also gotten to experience bite marks on our various appendages as she discovers how to use these fascinating sharp white things in her mouth that we call teeth. Mommy had a nice impression on her arm just the other night that confirmed that it is only the bottom two teeth that are pushed through so far.

We have also battled against two more ear infections this month. It was a difficult decision, but we have decided to have tubes put into Helena’s ears. Six ear infections in four months is just too many. She goes under the knife in a week.
