Kitchen Project – Weeks 2-3

Weeks 2-3 were relatively uneventful as not too much noticeably changed since the previous week aside from the refacing going from in progress to completed. But that doesn’t mean that nothing noteworthy happened! The most exciting thing for me was the removal of what we like to call in the family “Helena’s Inheritance”. If you haven’t seen it, we HAD possibly they most hideous gold and “faux glass” chandelier above our kitchen table. Not only was it an eyesore but it had a mean streak and liked to attack me whenever I walked by. Well, as you can see in the pictures below, the chandelier is no more, and not only that, I thoroughly enjoyed the removal process. We’ll post some pictures of its replacement soon.

Anybody want a chandelier? 😉
