How much is that Momma-Deem in the Windoooo
Our little Helena is not so little anymore. She is fast approaching 2 1/2 years old and turning into quite the little comedian and songstress. One of her favorite songs is how much is that doggie in the window which she enjoys on YouTube. But I think she enjoys making new words to that song and putting different people in the window (or as she says in the windoooo). Her favorite person to put in the window/windooo is her “momma-deem”. But we have put everyone from daddy to nonna to random animals around the house including her Spotty in the windooo.
We got our Christmas tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving, which was really exciting for Helena and us because we haven’t had one in the house for 2 years. Helena really enjoyed hanging a few ornaments and loves to find her “elf on the shelf” every morning.
We also took a trip back to Columbus for Thanksgiving this year and had a great time. We took Helena on her 1st “Turkey trot”, which was also mine and Christine’s 1st. She had an absolute blast and even ran in the “tot trot”. She got a medal and a cookie and I don’t think she could have been happier unless we bought her a puppy (not happening Santa!!). We also took her to the zoo with grandma and uncle Mike and Aunt Becki to enjoy the Columbus zoo “Wildlights”. This was my 1st trip to the zoo with Helena and her excitement was a sight to behold. We saw lots of animals, but if you ask her what she saw at the zoo she’ll say “not the gorillas”. I think that’s her subtle way of letting us know that next time we need to get there before the gorilla exhibit closes.
