This morning was a getting things done kind of morning. Pulled pork is cooking, mama’s baked beans are ready to go, and Helena and grandma have been working hard on Christmas cookies. The only kind of sugar cookie that Helena wanted to make was a “rainbow cookie”. Everything she frosted had at least four or five different colors and she described them as the most beautiful cookies ever.
