Christine’s birthday weekend…
Christine’s birthday is this coming Monday and according to her (as she says every year her birthday falls on a long weekend) this is her birthday weekend… and we are to celebrate every day!
Who am I to disagree? I’m just her fiancee, and I have gotten very good at parroting “Yes Dear!”. I think it comes out similar to Forest Gump shouting “yes drill sergeant!”
We haven’t really finalized any plans yet except for a barbecue on Saturday with my parents and some unnamed/unknown number of family members (you know who you are!). I think a trip to Boston for Thai Food could be a possibility and so could a hiking expedition up Mt. something or other.
Christine’s sister is also coming up to partake in the birthday weekend and enjoy the lovely accommodations in our second bedroom, which has an air mattress that is second to none. So it looks like a promising weekend all around! I will let you know when it is all over…
Very cute! I do recognize, though, that there a few years where my bday falls on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday…these would not be bday weekends!HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!
