Make up your mind!
First of all, let me remind everyone that there are only 4 days left until my birthday! I realize that my counting down must be a bit annoying, but that describes me to a tee, and if you are reading this you already know what I’m like! I should also apologize for being so difficult to shop for. Everyone keeps asking Christine what I want, and I can’t even think of things (at least not things in anyone’s price range). If I was to help my would-be shoppers, I would say that you just need to be creative. For instance, my parents found something that wasn’t on my list, and was even better than a new iMac! That’s right! They took me to see Arlo Guthrie’s “Alice’s Restaurant Tour” in Concord. I had to miss the second half of a patriots game, but it was well worth it because he puts on a great show.
Now, to get to the reason for the blog title “make up your mind!”… Christine and I have had a roller coaster of a week because of wedding related stress. As anyone who has ever planned a wedding will tell you, the most important things to figure out at the beginning is the wedding date, location, and reception hall. Christine and I were “on the ball” when it came to those three things until this week when one of Christine’s friends read in the paper that the restaurant where we are having our reception (we already put a deposit down) is going to be torn down and a strip mall put in its place.
Alarms were going off in our head at that point, “danger, danger!”. But there was nothing to do since it was the weekend. But when Monday rolled around we couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone at the restaurant. On Monday they had no idea when it was going to get torn down. On Tuesday, it was going to get torn down on March 31st. the wedding is on April 22nd for those of you who don’t remember. On Wednesday, they weren’t sure if it was going to be March 31st or April 30th. Pretty much every day last week they flip flopped the tear down date from March 31st to April 30th and back again. And every time they told us a date, they said, “but we will know for sure by tomorrow”. Yeah, Right! As of Friday, they finally told us that they are 100% sure that they are staying open until April 30th and they had invited us to lunch when we are in Ohio to make sure we are all on the same page. Hopefully, they won’t change their mind again.
And lastly, here is what happens to people who harass me and or don’t read my blog! (Evil laugh)

ASS!!!…and I’m saying this today since I can’t on your birthday…pthhhhhhhh :0
Remember, what goes around comes around. Now you have to watch your back! Go get him, Linds.
