Catching up
Last week was my dad’s birthday, one year away from one of those milestone birthdays. I think he would prefer I not share the number, so I won’t. Christine and I got him a new Snorkel set to replace his 1970s model. I suggested he test it out in the tub, but I think is going to wait until he gets to Cape Cod this August. Good Call!

This weekend Christine’s parents drove up from Ohio bearing gifts (a trunk full to be exact) that never made it back to New Hampshire after the wedding. It was quite a magnificent packing job by Diane to fit it all in the trunk. I wish we could pack it as tightly in our closets, but there’s no room there either. We had a good time including a fun bike trip along the New Hampshire seacoast.

I biked ahead and got a good picture of the mother daughter duo as they rounded the bend.

This seemed like a good pose at the time…I think we were pointing at a Lobster boat, but who really knows.
We biked about ten miles round-trip before the “In-Laws” had to leave for New York City. Their trip was cut little short because of some exciting travel plans which still are not 100% definite yet, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that Diane gets to go teach English in China! Too bad she can’t bring any assistants:-(

Wonderful pictures! It certainly was a wonderful weekend (but too short). We never got a chance to talk about blogging. I’m wondering if that would be an easy way to keep everyone up dated on my travels. How do I spread the word once I’m up and ready?
