Franklin Park Conservatory & Bad Book Movies

Before I go into my short tirade about how awful the new Eragon movie is, I should mention that I just added some additional photos from our trip to the Franklin Park Conservatory while we were in Ohio for Christmas. The pictures can be found on my New pictures page:

So I recently finished reading the first 2 books in the Eragon trilogy (Eragon & Eldest). Christine recommended them to me, and I’m glad she did because they were extremely good! I wish I could say the same for the movie.

If you have already read the book and you’re thinking about going to the movie, treat yourself to an ice cream or give the money to charity instead…Trust me you feel much better! I couldn’t even talk about the movie after watching it because of
how it obliterated the story in the book. My initial reaction, and I quote: “they pissed on the book and set in on fire”. Realizing that course of action might not be possible, I’ve since amended my description to use gasoline instead of bodily
fluids.
