Anniversary Weekend

It’s hard to believe that it has been a year already since we got married, but tomorrow will mark one year together (married). As many of you probably know, Christine and I like to stretch every celebration to at least a weekend (this especially includes birthdays, but we have now added anniversaries).

So far our anniversary weekend is off to a great start! It started a little bit early on Wednesday when I had some flowers delivered to her work. I wanted her to get maximum enjoyment and surprise her, so she got them early. The idea was that they should match her wedding bouquet and the florist did a good job recreating it.

Last night, we both went to get massages at the same time (that felt good!). And tonight we are heading out for a fancy dinner/date. There are also unconfirmed reports that we will be celebrating on Sunday with my parents and sister. I think I heard “Enchiladas!!!”.

If we can manage to squeeze in a bike ride and/or some other outdoor activities to enjoy the amazing weather, that would be icing on the cake.
