An Inauspicious Start to Cousins Weekend ’07

Thoughts of Cousins Weekend ’07 sustained us through a rather grueling week of work.  Doug’s company held their annual User Conference (read lots and lots of work) and the residency hosted a two-day course that your’s truly coordinated.  We both left work early today and hit the road to Portsmouth before 6pm for our 9:30pm flight.  Those of you who know and love me should be very impressed by how early we got out the door.  Excitement was high, after all we paid a whopping $72.60 for our flights this weekend.  We even splurged by eating at Quizno’s instead of Subway!  And what does one get for $72.60???  Well, you get a three hour delay with an arrival time in Columbus of 2am!  That’s if the flight actually leaves Columbus sometime this evening…
