Snatching Defeat From the Jaws of Victory

Today couldn’t have been much worse (well, it probably could but I don’t even want to think about that). The great thing about being a parent though is you can still come home to a wonderful little person who can make anything better. Wives are pretty good at that too (well mine is).

Today Helena decided that she could cheer me up by taking her first unassisted steps. So amazing! Before that Christine made her laugh and giggle and I was already on my way to feeling better.

That I ended the day with a chocolate chip cookie sundae didn’t hurt either!!
