October 2010 Pictures Posted
In case you missed it, we posted October pictures a couple weeks ago. Seriously this is the first moment I’ve had to even consider posting a blog. The pics are at the link below…
Helena is doing absolutely amazing. She is loving her new classroom at Daycare. Even though she is the youngest she is fitting right in. She comes home happy and tired from all her activities. She’s even been featured on the “Art Wall” a couple times so we know she’s got some real talent.
Her favorite things to do in this world, aside from eat, are to read books and play hide and seek. Although, she’s still learning the finer arts of the latter. Case in point, when I count to 10 and she hides, she just can’t stop herself from A) Giggling, B) Poking her head up, C) Running out of her hiding spot to see me, or D) All of the above. Currently her favorite book is “Moose on the Loose”, which between Christine and I we have probably read 12+ times today (and that was before lunch).
She has also become very vocal and is trying to say all sorts of words. Aside from Momma and Dadda, she says “more”, “All Done”, “Nonna”, “Boppa” (for grampa), “wawwa” (for water), and something that sounds like “chin-chee” (for Lindsey). The last one sounds very Chinese too, as if she’s talking about her Asian auntie Lindsey. 😉 There are so many more too, but those are her favs. To be honest I could do with fewer “all done”s. She says it for everything. Like if she’s bored while we’re getting ready in the morning, she tells us she’s all done. If she has more important things to do than have her pants put back on after a diaper change (believe me she does) she says “all done”. I could go on, but I think you get the drift…
Enjoy the pictures!!!

such a nice story and one that Lena will have as part of her baby book.
