Death Valley – Day 2 (Mt. Perry)
We started our death Valley hiking adventure yesterday with a hike up to Mount Perry. Before starting the hike we took some sunrise photos from Zabriskie point.
The hike itself was absolutely amazing. It was a ridgeline hike of about 4 miles (1 way) with death Valley on one side and another set of mountains and a valley on the other side. We probably stopped a little bit too often at the beginning of the hike to take pictures because the views were so amazing. We saw no one else for 7 hours (basically the whole hike) until we got back within 1/2 mile of the parking lot.
Helena’s friend Welly also posed for a pic at the end of the hike at Dante’s View. He’s keeping us company so Helena doesn’t miss us too much.

What gorgeous shots! Glad you two are having a wonderful time 🙂
I aspire to be photographers only 1/2 as good as you two.
